A gaushala built on one simple idea: no rescued cow is turned away
We look after cows that others have given up on. We give them food, treatment and a safe place to live for as long as they live.
Our story
M. Rajanna started the trust in 2018 after seeing old and injured cows left on the roads with no one to care for them. It began with a handful of animals and grew as more people brought cows to us.
Today the gaushala in Chellahalli Village, Hesaraghatta Hobli is home to about 100 rescued cows. Many of them are old, disabled, or stopped giving milk. That is exactly why they are here.
What we do every day
Rescue
We take in cows that are abandoned, injured, or brought to us by people who can no longer keep them.
Feed
Every cow gets green fodder, dry fodder and clean water every day.
Treat
Sick and injured cows get veterinary treatment. The whole herd gets regular check-ups.
Protect
Our cows are never sold. They live out their lives with us in peace.
